Anyleaf

Privacy

Last updated: 26 October 2026

Anyleaf is made by one person, and this page says plainly what happens with your data.

The app

The Anyleaf app does not collect, send or share anything. It never connects to the internet: no account, no analytics, no crash reports, no tracking. Your files and the copies Anyleaf keeps of unsaved text stay in a private folder on your Mac (~/Library/Application Support/Anyleaf).

The beta list

If you join the beta list we store your email address, the language of the page you used and the date. We use it only to email you about the Anyleaf beta and its launch. We don’t sell it, share it or use it for advertising.

Legal basis: your consent when you submit the form (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time on the unsubscribe page or by writing to us; we then delete your address. If you don’t, we delete the list once the beta ends and Anyleaf 1.0 has launched, and no later than 31 December 2027.

The list is stored with Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts this website and acts as our processor under its Data Processing Addendum. Cloudflare may process data outside the EU under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

This website

This site sets no cookies and loads nothing from other companies — fonts included. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or export your data, or object to its use, by writing to [email protected]. If you think we got something wrong, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD).
